Tasting Room - Izakaya NOBE

Hungry Friends,

Has it been 9 months since my last Tasting Room dinner? Yes. Do I have a good excuse such as traveling the globe collecting esoteric recipes from indigenous tribes to bring back to my kitchen? No. Am I sorry I haven't fed you in 9 months? Yes.

Ok, now that that's out of the way...let's eat together!

I've been working on my ramen broth over the last few weeks and think I've zoned in on something worth serving. I'll also have other Izakaya inspired dishes while holding true to my typical emphasis on season ingredients. Oh, and there will be booze of course.

I do feel obligated to point out that I live in the Golden Gate district of Oakland and that NOBE is a trendy marketing campaign and is not actually a real neighborhood.  However, Izakaya Golden Gate just didn't have the same ring to it.
